The 2010 Cruising Programme
Hello and welcome to the 2010 Cruising Section.
Published below are the planned cruises for this year. You will see that we are still waiting to confirm our marina’s for the end of May Bank Holiday cruise to the Channel Islands but the dates are correct.
All Association members are welcome to participate in any of the planned cruises, subject to marina availability on numbers. If you want to go that bit further then join us to get that experience so that you can go it alone. Both experienced and novice crews are welcome. If you are uncertain of your boats suitability then contact a committee or pontoon representative who will be happy to help and advise you. Every cruise that we run will again use the Peter Cumberlidge Waypoint Directory for the planned route.
Once your booking has been confirmed you will be contacted by the cruise coordinator aprox 3 weeks before departure when we seek confirmation of your attendance, before receiving the actual cruising notes 7 days before we leave. There is always a skippers briefing the night before departure when the current weather information and departure time will be confirmed.
Places will be reserved on a ‘first come first served basis’ so please check the site around that time and get your forms delivered or sent to us at the Cobbs Quay office.
Here’s wishing you all a happy 2010 boating season subject of course to the great British weather.
