Special Diesel Fuel Price negotiated with Corralls (now CPL Petroleum)

With the inexorable rise in fuel prices, diesel fuel costs have become a much greater proportion of running costs than ever before.

Sadly, fuel prices can only be further adversely affected by the EU proposals to remove the derogation on red diesel in the UK.

In order to address this situation and continue to add value for members, the CQBHA committee are pleased to announce that special arrangements have been negotiated with CPL - exclusively for CQBHA members. This offer only applies to diesel fuel, as CPL do not offer petrol at their facility in Poole.

In response to this initiative in 2006 MDL installed a larger fuel storage tank enabling them to purchase at bulk rates and improve the price to you. All part of the value add initiatives we pursue on your behalf, giving you improved pricing and flexibility with refuelling locations.

CPL's fuel facility is located on the harbour side of the lifting bridge, immediately to starboard as you transit the bridge, next to the Sunseeker production units. CPL have now installed a berthing pontoon along their water frontage. This is similar in length to the pontoon at Cobbs Quay and can easily take two 11.5 metre vessels. The fuelling facility is normally manned 09.00 - 16.00 during the summer and 10.00 - 14.00 in the winter, to assist with berthing lines etc.

Your details will be checked against our member database and then forwarded to CPL for inclusion in the CQBHA discount group.

CPL will provide an application form and on satisfactory receipt, they will provide you with a smart card and pin which can be used 24x7 at the fuel pumps. They aim to provide cards within 7 days from receipt of the application form.
Invoices will be despatched by CPL, for payment on the 20th of each month by direct debit or credit card.
