7. Coast Guard CG66 and SSR- online registration and renewal.
It's always sensible to inform the CoastGuard when you are making an extended passage - just in case something happens and you need assistance. CG66 registrations need to be renewed every two years.
You can now register your boat details with the Coast Guard online and even send a picture of your boat to assist them to find you.

9. Solas Regulations. All the gen on what you should have on your boat to comply with the latest solas regulations. [click here]

10. Life Saving Signals. Next time someone is waving at you from a sports cruiser they might just be in trouble! Get familiar with the proper ways to signal for help. This is also required for your CEVNI test. [click here]
